ARIEL Theatrical has opened registration for Spring Conservatory Programs. Programs within each Conservatory vary by minimum age for participation and complexity of material. YOU'RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN, with performance opportunities for those 12-17, begins March 20. Registration is open through the first scheduled rehearsal or until programs are full. Rehearsals take place at the Karen Wilson Children's Theatre in Oldtown Salinas. PacRep’s SoDA program encompasses key principles of performance with core classes that focus on acting, singing, stage movement, scene/set/costume design, mime, and stage combat. Electives, including film acting, Shakespeare, improv comedy, SoDA Glee and Play Production are also offered for beginners as well as seasoned performers, from ages 6 to 18, as well as adults. Program Director Gracie Poletti heads the SoDA program with highly experienced resident staff, Maryann Rousseau (Program Director Emerita, Actress and Movement Specialist), Brittney Klambough (BA Theatre Arts, screenplay writer and producer), MaryLee Sunseri (Winner of four Parent’s Choice Awards, Musician, Vocalist), Diane Wiese Goyette (Credentialed Theatre Arts Teacher), Lyla Englehorn (BA Theatre Arts, Musical Director, Choreographer) and Stevie McKim (Choreographer and Dance Instructor).
